The English midfielder sustained the foot problem during a training session on Friday and has not travelled with the squad for tonights Premier League game. This will be Leicesters first game without title winning manager Claudio Ranieri, after the club let the Italian go due to the Foxes poor form.
The injury was caused by a kick to the foot at the training ground, which has caused serious bruising. Fortunately for the club, the scans show that it hasnt fractured, meaning he wont be out for too long. However, this will mean he will miss out on their clash with Arsenal, which is a massive game for both clubs as they try and secure Champions League football for next season.
Klopp isnt too short for options with the manager able to choose from Emre Can and Lucas Leiva, although the Brazilian might fill in at the back with Dejan Lovren still recovering from a knee injury. Daniel Sturridge is also a doubt for tonights game with the forward suffering from a virus last week, which has forced him out of training.
